Not much to tell at this point ’cause we basically hung around at the beach for the last couple of days lol. Yes, I’m getting really tan!!! Just hope I won’t be peeling soon… Anyway, we visited Busch Gardens on Monday which was pretty cool. The new attraction Haunted Lighthouse 4D kinda sucks though. I wouldn’t recommend it. At 5PM the weather suddenly turned and the thunder and lightning started again. Very bad this time. You could hear lightning striking into buildings or trees (I don’t know) nearby so we stayed at this birdshow theater for about an hour and a half. We met an American couple who were into buying and selling houses. They told us that this was nothing compared to the thunderstorms in Chicago or New York… please don’t ever make me go there!!!! When it got a little bit better we started running towards the car. I thought for sure we were gonna die. But we didn’t 
Anyway, due to this crappy weather I had to miss the gigantic wooden coaster in BG :((
This morning we checked out. The hotel manager is supposed to leave a msg at my cell phone later today because we complained about a couple of things hehe lol… he might take some nights of the bill. I’ll let you know. Scamming hotels is becoming a hobby of ours. It’s so easy 
In a couple of minutes I’m going to drive to Naples/Sanibel Island. Yes, I am going to drive! If it’s not raining that is… I hate driving in the rain. I think we’ll stay there for 1, maybe 2, nights. There’s not much to do around there.. just a bunch of old people. But you can find the nicest seashells at Sanibel Island so that’s the reason we’re making a quick stop…. and of course the fact that driving to Key West from here takes you more than a day I can’t believe that Key West will be our final stop on this trip. It feels like we just got here and I’m finally getting a bit relaxed…. I think we’ll be there on my birthday (which is this Sunday, June 22nd!!!) so that will be nice. I wonder when Eelco is getting me his present.. I didn’t see him go shopping by himself yet 
Hmmm… I did see this really nice British replicar (Austin Healey conv.) at a used car shop the other day… I like that one!!!
Ok, we’re going now. Driving my red Mustang convertible for a couple of hours

Update: still here.
It’s raining cats and dogs outside so where still in the internet cafe. Eelco just reminded me that I forget to tell that he got completely drunk last night. How could I forget?? I had the best time!! Corinne, remember when Eelco took a sip of our Long Island ice tea at Applebee’s a while ago? Well, he liked it so much that he decided to order one at the pool yesterday afternoon… It was a really strong one… one that hit him with a huge hammer After finishing the LI ice tea he started taking sips of my cocktails and enjoying them more and more. He started singing and shouting with his earplugs in his ears (from his Ipod), singing “Heman” and “YMCA”. He definitely got attention.
There was this guy who looked like Santa in his bathing suit and Eelco was determined to get his picture taken with him so while he was going in circles around this guy I had to take his pic. I took several of course because I didn’t want to let this moment pass 
My God, he was so drunk, I can’t believe it. He started calling people back home like Roel and my sister Sylvia, forgetting that is was 6.30 PM here which means 0.30 AM at home on a working night. Anyway, Roel was drunk too so no harm there and my sister didn’t answer (good thing she turned her cell phone off although I would have loved to hear her reaction on this one haha!). At one time I think he was going to call my parents too… he didn’t.
Ok, so after the drinks he wanted to show off some Kung Fu stuff at the beach. It looked horrible (got pics!). He fell down about 5 times and had a really confused look on his face and his mouth was wide open. When he had enough he took a shower.. that felt good. Then we went to the hotel room to get dressed for dinner. He tried to open the door with his keycard but it didn’t open so he started kicking and pushing the door… real hard… so hard that when we were finally in the room someone knocked on the door… hotel security!!! The guy asked what was going on because someone was kicking the door.. then he recognized me and said:”Oh, is this the same boyfriend from the beach?”, while giggling… I said yes and then he said it was ok and he understood and he left lol. Eelco made quite an impression!! Didn’t think I would live to see this day Don’t know if he will drink again anytime soon because he doesn’t feel very well today!!
